THE FERNET-BRANCA BARBACK GAMES FEATURES the UK’s best bar teams BATTLING THROUGH A SERIES OF RIGOROUS CHALLENGES TO CROWDS OF INDUSTRY FRIENDS.

The winning team will win two places on an all-expenses paid trip to Milan to visit the Fernet-Branca distillery.

ON THE DAY

On the day there will be four rounds, each testing your bar back skills, endurance and love of Fernet-Branca. Teams will be drawn at random, with each round being a knock out. The final will be a battle between two teams for the chance to win a trip to the Milan. Teams won’t find out what is involved until the day of the competition, but influence from previous bar back games will be taken.

What qualifies you to enter the Barback Games?

This year we want to celebrate the return of hospitality by celebrating every role in the bar. At times even, the bar owner must do the roles of a bar back. Just because you may do multiple jobs, does not mean you’re not a qualified bar back participant and able to enter the competition. So please feel free to enter if you work in any role within a pub, bar, restaurant or club. It’s open to all to compete for the title.
